I would have to say that it depends on your age. If you are an adult, you do not want to be reading any Cam Jensen books that were aimed at young kids around the ages of five and six. The Harry Potter Books, for example, have captivated people of all ages, but I think that was just luck, considering that the content that made up Harry Potter wasn't exactly suitable for children anyway.

An opinion from a former professional educator:Any book can positively encourage a reader. It really depends on the interests and reading level of the reader. What is most important is that the reader finds a book he finds interesting. One that challenges him is also important.
