How does a boss drop a rare pet in wizard 101?

Unicorn way (first tower): lady blackhope myth spite

Haunted cave(last tower): lord night shade dark Sprite and blue banshee

Sunken city(last boss): blue cat thug and ONLY ON HOLLOWEEN the greater imp

Dark cave: blue cyclops (in quest to find penny dreadfull)

fire cat ally(fire globe thereter):alican swift arrow life sprite

Cyclops lane(last tower):general akilles blue ghost

Colossus boulavard(last tower):prince gobblestone snow serpent

Bosses drop pets when you defeat them like for example. ( rattlebones drops a myth sprite,and nightshade drops blue banshee and general akillies drops a blue ghost and when you defeat prince gobbler He drops a snow serphent that gives you a card that's called ice snake or snow snake ( it's just like storm snake ) ) if the bosses don't drop a pet right off the bat you might have to battle them a couple of times
