Does the US need a real president?

I don't really understand exactly what you mean but I will give my best guess for an answer. The president is meant to keep order in the U.S. without him the executive branch will be out of balance so will the judicial and legislative. The executive branch makes laws official the president approves and carries laws out passed by the legislative branch. He also approves or removes cabinet members he negotiates treaties, and acts as head of state and commander and chief of the military armed forces.
