The judiciary branch is the only branch of government that is appointed. The President appoints members for life.
There are 13 or 538 members of the Executive Branch.
They are elected and not appointed.
Legal voters vote for the president which tells the electoral collge which cantidate to vote for. Once the president is elected, they appoint his/her cabinet, providing the judicial branch agrees with the appoinent.
It depends on wich country your in, but most of the time, the crongress or house of commons have more elected members than the senate

Iran called on the legislature (parliament. Islami). It has 290 members. Members are elected with the votes.
House members serve two year terms, senate members serve six-year terms. There is no limit to the number of terms they can be elected to.
