Thermal take is a very good brand to prevent processor's from over heating. Many of there model's are designed to be used with processor's that are overclocked (causing them to run hotter).
If a computer's power supply overheats then switch the computer off and let it cool down. Similarly, purchase a laptop stand or computer fan to get cool air flowing around the machine.
If it overheats (the fan is blocked or isn't enough to keep it cooled), then yes it is :)

You can check the cooling fan relay under the hood in the junction box but it would be a lot easier to just scan the vehicles computer......
you must only use your computer for only 3-4 hours so that you can prevent over heating You could if you know anything about the components of computers clean all the fans of dust and dirt with a hoover, but be as gentle as possible. this should be done at least once a year. and if you have more than one fan attached to a computer insted of the fan bolwing out hot air it then changes to a vacume taking in the heat making it overheat faster
You can run it until the processor overheats and shuts down which will not take long. Eventually the processor ECU will fail due to overheating and you will be replacing it.
If the fan does not run, that is probably why it overheats.
your electric radiator fan might not be working, check fan fuses
Have you had the rad. checked ?
Try these and if you find a symptom repost questoin : 1. Check coolant level 2. Ensure fan shroud is intact 3. Remove thermostat (then see if it overheats) 4. Ensure fan(s) are turning on and/or fan clutches are in proper working condition
When playing on the computer the fan should keep on so it does not over heat. It is safe for the computer fan to be on.
The easy way: Hook up the tester box to the computer and have the computer turn it on. The hard way: Idle the car until the fan turns on or the engine overheats. If it over heats its broken. Another way is to just turn the A/C on. On almost all vehicles the cooling fan runs continuously when the A/C is on.
