All cats shed a bout the same, but cats that have longer fur may seem like they shed more, but they don't It's just that because the fur is longer, it's more noticable. Brushing your cat once a week isn't enough, my cats shed a lot and they are ginger tabbys, if your are like mine.. GOOD LUCK! They are really cute though :)

The cat recorded with the longest fur by the Guinness Book of World Records was Colonel Meow. He was a Himalayan-Persian crossbreed, and died of heart problems in January of 2014.

Most breeds of cats have fur. The breed that doesn't is the rare Egyptian Cat. It has golden eyes and is hairless. that cat is called a Spinx cat
