Interesting, I was just watching the latest Cigna Commercial and had the same question about a dog that appears in it. It resembled a basset hound, dalmatian, dachshund, and a beagle. Strangely enough a small segment that would otherwise be insignificant has individuals discussing, searching and repeating the organization's name. Well done marketing agency of Cigna, well done.
Primary role was English Springer Spaniel. They used film from both a field-bred and English import bench-type dogs: one was filmed in South Carolina, the bench dog was filmed south of San Francisco, California. This dog was my dog, K.D., a 7-year-old liver/white spotted female, that I bred. The Field Bred English Springer, a 6-year old liver/white female (Pride 'N Joy's Star Catcher, NA, OAJ, RN, CGC) "Hallie" was used in the film version of the commercial. She resides in Sneads Ferry, NC. The secondary dogs were a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a Golden Retriever, both from North Carolina.
There are three dogs in the commercial. The primary dog is a Field Bred English Springer Spaniel. The supporting cast is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a Golden Retreiver.
I am quite sure it is an English Shepherd, in fact we have one that is almost the exact same coloring, this looks like our dog so much it could be it's twin.
