My vote goes to the Bull Mastiff, breed to hunt poacher, silent and 200 lbs of bulging muscle. Called night hounds.
2nd Answer:
Voting has nothing to do with it. According to statistical records, pit bulls are responsible for close to 70% of all human deaths. Pits are deadly because they attack hard, then hang on. Most other dogs will run in for a bite, then run off.
Rottweilers are far behind, but come in in second place. Both dogs are considered to be unpredictable. In my small town last year, a pit attacked the 9 year old daughter of its family, and her head is now badly scarred and deformed. This is one of many such facts in my area, alone.
I KNOW . . . these dogs are pussycats and very devoted and sweet. Don't you believe it for a second. The US Postal service does not believe it!
Unbiased answer: There are 5 million pit bulls in America. There were 25 deaths caused by dogs that appeared to be pit bulls last year. Statistics don't back up your claim. And All dogs hate postal workers.
Any dog can, especially a dog that sees children as a threat to itself and its owners or as prey, and one that has not been socialized with children. Parents who leave their children alone with a couple of unbalanced dogs (or dogs that have negative energy like nervousness, fear, anxiety, frustration, etc.) have a much higher chance of losing that child to those dogs. A pack of dogs is more deadly to a child than a dog that is by itself.
ANY breed of Dog can become dangerous if it is not socialized and trained properly by responsible owners. Although breeds such as the Rottweiler, Dobermann, German Shepherd, Pit Bull etc. get lots of negative attention from the media, these breeds are no more likely to bite you than any other breed of Dog. In fact, statistically the most aggressive breed of Dog is the Dachshund (popularly known as the sausage dog). You may be surprised to learn that the Pit Bull Terrier, which is commonly accused of being aggressive and dangerous, actually statistically has the second BEST temperament of all breeds of Dog (according to tests by the American Temperament Test Society). There are breeds of Dog that were originally bred to hunt or kill prey, but no breed was bred to hurt humans. A Dog's temperament is dependant on how it was raised and what sort of owners it had.
Pitbull. Looked it up. They don't let go.
Then rottweilers.
The Pit bull has killed the most people, surprisingly, as they are so friendly. The second breed that has killed the most people is the Rottweiler.

The correct answer is the DEER (white tail & others). More human deaths result annually as well as cumulatively from auto accidents involving deer than from any other animal responsible cause.
The most dangerous animal is man. Over 18,000 deaths from deliberate assault and over 32,000 suicides in 2005. Transport accicents (with human drivers) killed another 48,000. (www.nsc.org/lrs/statinfo/odds.htm) . The second most dangerous animal is the horse with 100-150 deaths per year from riding accidents. "Wild" mammals and reptiles kill less than 50 all together.
