There are many breeds of dogs that are used for agility including the grey hound. This is because these dogs have long slender bodies that have great flexibility.
Herding breeds are usually the best agility dogs. Example Border collies and Blue Heelers. But also Jack Russels and other small high energy dogs can make great agility dogs too.
Herding breeds such as Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, Corgis, Australian Kelpies, Queensland Heelers, Australian Cattle Dogs, Shetland Sheepdogs, and others have a *tendency* to have the traits that make good agility dogs: Eagerness to work, agility, speed, trainability. However, not all dogs of these breeds necessarily have these traits, and there are many other breeds where some or many of the individual dogs might have these traits. For example, many Papillons are amazing at agility, and so are some Poodles (of all sizes). Other working breeds might have some or all of those traits, such as Dobermans, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Chesapeake bay retrievers, Springer Spaniels, and many others. Don't just get a dog for agility though, you need to be able to love it, even if it turns out hating agility. I have a dog agility course myself and a doberman she is still young so you must be very patient with your dog while doing the course.
Technically, any dog can do agility. The typically breeds you will see do agility are:Border ColliesAustralian ShepherdsShetland SheepdogsCorgisJack Russell TerriersThose are just a few. Mainly high energy dogs will do well in an agility competition.Shiba Inus could also be good at agility if you can convince them to do it.
Technically, all dogs can be good agility dogs, it just requires training. Since dalmations are big and not square-body shaped, they should be pretty good, even though you dont usually see them on TV running courses.
there is no such thing as the worst dog breed! a breed is a breed and some breeds of dogs are used for specialized things and are better at thing then other dog breeds like your working dogs like kelpies are good for agility and then you have ur German shepherds which are good attack dogs. things like that
Yes, any breed (even mixed breeds) can enter in Agility.
Yes. The Shetland Sheepdog is one of the leading breeds in agility competitions. As these dogs are originally bred to herd sheep, they have high energy levels and are talented athletes.
While a variety of breeds may be used to hunt forensic material, bloodhounds, springer spanels, and labradors are the most common breeds used as cadaver dogs.

Many dogs are used, but the most common is the pit bull.
There is really no such thing as the MOST athletic dog breed, but there are certainly some breeds that excel when it comes to speed, agility, and endurance. Many people would agree that the Border Collie is a superb athelete because of its ability to herd and compete in sporting events such as agility (and they usually dominate).
Drug dogs in other words dogs used to sniff out drugs can be many breeds of dog. Drug dogs are often dogs with very good sense of smell. Most commonly a German Shepard, however, many other breeds can participate in "drug sniffing". For example Bloodhounds or Labs are sometimes used in airports. Also Bloodhounds can be used on a paralegal case simply because these dogs can sniff out trails hours after they were left. There are also breeds of dogs which can sniff out mold in walls and such.
