The Highbridge at 173rd street is no longer in use, but still spans the river. There are 2,027 bridges and tunnels overall in the New York City metro area.

1-Verrazano going to Brooklyn NY

2- Goethals bridge going to Newark/Elizabeth NJ

  1. Bayonne bridge going to Bayonne NJ

  2. Outerbridge going to Edison/Perth Amboy NJ.

There is also a rail lift bridge that runs pararell to the Goethals bridge linking Port Ivory to Port Elizabeth.
