I'm not sure what is meant by an "English hackamore". If your talking about a cavison this is usually part of the English headstall (bridle without reins). With this cavison you can attatch different training devices like a running or standing martingales.

∙ 12y agoBy English hackamore I think you mean a cavason. Cavasons are standard on most English bridles. There are cavasons for western bridles and they are used for training devices such as standing martingales (tie-down in western speak) or running martingales.
