Warm air has a lower density than cool air, so warm air rises within cooler air, similarly to hot air balloons. Clouds form as relatively warmer air carrying moisture rises within cooler air. As the moist air rises, it cools causing some of the water vapor in the rising packet of air to condense. When the moisture condenses, it releases energy so that the rising packet of air cools less than its surrounding air, so it continues to rise. If enough instability is present in the atmosphere, this process will continue long enough for cumulonimbus clouds to form, which support lightning and thunder. Generally, thunderstorms require three ingredients: (1) moisture, (2) an unstable airmass, and (3) a lifting force. All thunderstorms, regardless of type, go through three stages: the cumulus stage, the mature stage, and the dissipation stage. Depending on the conditions present in the atmosphere, these three stages can take anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours to occur.
god knowes
thunderstorm
No. But you can still do something to save yourself.
Too much precipitation causes the flood.
Too much precipitation causes the flood.
I am an shs student and have no idea please help me do my assignment before school starts
it is because the Glottis briefly stops the air flow. that causes the air to get out hardly and causes the grunting sounds.
Well a tunderstrorm is rain lihtning and bom boom! im 4
An intelligent answer - no BS - which makes a pelasant change
The rotating updraft within a thunderstorm, known as a mesocyclone, is responsible for creating the conditions that can lead to a tornado. When this rotating air column tightens and extends to the ground, it can form a tornado.
The air inside a tornadic thunderstorm (a storm that produces a tornado) does spin. But it is that spinning air that causes the tornado, rather than the tornado starting the air spinning.
Well first water or ice evaporates then condensates to clouds then if it took in enough rain it causes a thunderstorm
