"In 1947, Grace Murray Hopper was working on the Harvard University Mark II Aiken Relay Calculator (a primitive computer).
On the 9th of September, 1947, when the machine was experiencing problems, an investigation showed that there was a moth trapped between the points of Relay #70, in Panel F.
The operators removed the moth and affixed it to the log.... The entry reads: "First actual case of bug being found."
The word went out that they had "debugged" the machine and the term "debugging a computer program" was born.
Although Grace Hopper was always careful to admit that she was not there when it actually happened, it was one of her favorite stories."

to find out the moral beliefs of the great quay grace and his movement..
The first UNIVAC (UNIVersal Automatic Computer) built was sold at a dramatic loss for the Remington Rand company to the US Census Bureau for the agreed contract price of $159,000. The second and third UNIVACs built were sold at the same dramatic loss for the Remington Rand company to the US Air Force and the US Army Map Service respectively for the same agreed contract price.I cannot find figures, but a reasonable guess might be that the cost to build each UNIVAC system was between $250,000 and $500,000 for Remington Rand.To recover these losses and make a profit on later UNIVACs built Remington Rand raised the price on each subsequent system, until the price stabilized at just below $2,000,000 which paid for both building the machine and a reasonable profit (which shows how badly wrong Eckert and Mauchly were at cost estimates when they negotiated the original sales contracts for UNIVAC, they made a similar error on ENIAC's costs back in WW2 estimating $50,000 when the finished ENIAC cost $500,000 the only thing that saved the project was the ENIAC contract was written as a "cost plus fixed fee" contract instead of a "fixed price" contract as UNIVAC's contracts were written).
To the best of my research, Jonathan Spiceland (University of Tennessee at Martin) threw 191 pitches against Murray State University in May 2003. I have yet to find another player near that number.
Some popular attractions to visit well in the Provdenciales include Grace Bay, the Provo Ponies, and Taylor Bay. You can find more things to do well at the Providenciales online at the TripAdvisor website.

Grace Murray Hopper (December 9, 1906 - January 1, 1992) was an American computer scientist and United States Navyofficer. A pioneer in the field, she was one of the first programmers of the Harvard Mark I computer, and developed the first compiler for a computer programming language.[1][2][3][4][5] She conceptualized the idea of machine-independent programming languages, which led to the development of COBOL, one of the first modern programming languages. She is credited with popularizing the term "debugging" for fixing computer glitches (motivated by an actual moth removed from the computer, and not by her). Due to the breadth of her accomplishments and her naval rank, she is sometimes referred to as "Amazing Grace." The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Hopper(DDG-70)is named for her, as was the Cray XE6 "Hopper" supercomputer at NERSC.

Rear Admiral Grace Murray Hopper developed the COBOL (Common-Business Oriented Language) on the MARK I & MARK II Mainframe computers. A moth got into the electronics and caused the program to stop. The BUG was retrieved and pasted in the log book. Thus the terms: BUG (there's an error in the program) & DE-BUG( find the errors in a computer program).
You can find this information at many places online. You can go to www.wheelsontrucks.com/trailer...SID=Hopper/Grain or www.globalspec.com/.../hopper_bottom_grain_trailer

A Murray riding lawnmower owners manual can be obtained from most Murray riding lawnmower dealerships. You can find the owners manual at most local libraries.
An unnamed technician working the night shift on the Harvard Mark II electromechanical computer. The machine had failed while working a problem sometime earlier and he had been troubleshooting it. He tracked the problem to a relay whose contacts would not close properly. When the relay was removed and replaced, a moth was found smashed to death in the old relay's contacts. When he made the entry in the logbook for that problem he referred to the moth as "the first computer bug" and taped the moth into the book to prove it.When Grace Murray Hopper came in on the day shift she read the log entry and thought it would be a great story to tell.
