no to sure. but it could be a scientist -------------------------------------------------- Do you mean as in invented them - or "manufactures them" - different answers. We need a bit more info really - do you have a specific drug in mind? Many drugs are not invented - they already existed before man showed up, so they are really "discovered". For example, the resin from the opium poppy, cannabis, tobacco, coffee (caffeine) and a whole raft of other plant based drugs that include everything from things like belladonna (deadly nightshade) which is used for heart treatment, the bark of the willow tree (same active ingredient as aspirin) through to khat - and coca leaves (cocaine albeit in a crude state). So, some drugs are discovered, some are made artifically - but are you after the name of the person who made the first synthetic drug or an exhaustive list of people who invent or make them?
Coca-Cola was first introduced in 1886 and in 2011 was voted the world's most valuable brand. The product policy of Coca-Cola is to manufacture their products under strict policies and specifications by a quality management program.
The sector coca cola is in is the secondary sector becasue they turn/make the primary products into finished goods. They manufacture.

Bolivia's main exports include natural gas (with Argentina and Brazil as the main buyers), zinc, and soybeans. Other exports include coffee, sugar, cotton, corn timber, sunflower seeds (for oil), organic chocolate, and coca. However, in most countries coca leaves are illegal to posses because they are processed to create cocaine. In The US, the following companies are registered with the DEA to legally import coca leaves: Stephen Company, Coca-Cola, Johnson Matthey, Inc, Pharmaceutical Materials; Mallinckrodt Inc; Penick Corporation; and the Research Triangle Institute.
