Then your cage and the room it's in gets all smelly and your guinea pigs is walking around getting dirtier every step. They also could get sores on their feet or get "sick" feet. Don't forget to trim your guinea pig's claws also!
If you dont clean your hamster cage once a week eventually the cage will become overgrown in bacteria and this can make a hamster very ill therefor it will die. :(
that your parents would kill u and if they dont find out it will stink
No, it wouldn't kill it but it would have an awful odor.
it will prolly get sick
If your hamster's face was out of the cage, then it couldn't have happened naturally.
Syrian hamsters are territorial and will most likely kill your Chinese hamster, so no.
You can put a ferret in a hamsters cage on a temporary basis as long as it's not being used to house hamster's as the ferret will kill them. A ferrets needs a large size cage made for ferrets.
take out the other hamster because it could destress themom or the other male/female could kill the young.
No because if u put a hamster with a otherhamster which is pregnant they may fight. not only will they fight , but they will also kill the hamster , and after they give birth , they will kill & eat the babies ...........Yes it always good to put a mother to be in a cage by herself because its the males that will usually eat the pinkies( newborns)
If you clean the hamster's cage before the babies are old enough, the mother might kill her babies.
Syrian Hamsters will kill and eat a gerbil, do not put them together in the same cage.
No.....................Dont do that they will fight and try to kill each other
if u want them to kill each other yes
Yes. The chemicals in the ant poison were meant to kill. It could definitely kill a hamster, even in the tiniest amounts. Never place a hamster next to ant poison.
Not really, they won't try to kill each other. I tried it because I had a mouse and a hamster but only one cage. I figured why not? Well, they didn't try to kill each other. It's just that the hamster, Nibbles, keeps stealing Lionel's (mouse) place. Like when Lionel was on the wheel, Nibbles tried to steal his place. Which lead to fighting. So it's alright if you put them together in a cage. Just remember to monitor them so the hamster doesn't try anything funny. But yeah, you can put a mouse in a hamster cage.
Hamsters aren't supposed to share cages if there syrians(dwarf hamsters can share a cage very happily). Your hamsters could kill eachother; hamster's nature is to roam alone. However, if you have one male hamster, and one female hamster, this may not apply, as the female can, well, you know, with the male and before you know it.... pop goes the BABIES. Be prepared.
