Believe it or not, you need to have a casette in the casette player. If you use the casette that cam with the car, it has audible instructions. Now, here's one for you- where is the fuse for the overhead console that protects the compass and drive time features?

You can get the thunder gun at the "Numbers" mission. Once you have done all the talking, you'll get attacked. The enemies will come towards you in a hallway. Down that hallway there are six nova 6 canisters. Just start tossing grenades and shooting. You have to get the canisters before they do. Once you're sure you got all the canisters, go back and turn around the corner to your right to an office. There it will be a casette player. If you did it right (managed to take all the canisters), this casette player will be open. Hold "X" on xbox, or square on ps3, and you'll take the casette out. Now you have to continue the mission. Fight your way to Clarke's weapon cache. Get up on the roof and jump down (the slow-motion place), and wait for Weaver and Clarke to move away the fridge (or whatever it is). At the left side in the weapon room, there's another casette player. Go to it and hold "X" on xbox or square on ps3, and you'll insert the casette. If you did this right you'll hear some funny sounds, and the screen will shake, and then the thunder gun comes out from the wall.
