There are lots of tablet computers that do the same thing the IPad does, but they don't run IOS so you can't use the App store apps on them. The Kindle Fire is close.
In my opinion I think the Ipad is overrated. The IPad has its advantages as far as visual aspects but in almost all categories netbooks are comparable or better than the IPad and often cheaper.

To my knowledge you can buy a IPad that's been refurbished at any Apple Store. I think my husband told me that at Best Buy Stores they sell refurbished IPads also. I have been told that they come cheaper because of the open box.
you can buy it from the official apple store it is cheaper and it will be shipped to you for free. You could also buy it from Tesco as it is also really cheap.
