Depending on HOW serious the warrant is. If it is a Felony, it is harboring a fugitive, if it is a misdemeanor depending on the offense, you should STILL turn that person in. If it is a traffic warrant, nothing can happen to you. It is up to that person to handle that situation.
You can do one of the two let them know they need to turn themselves in - OR - contact law enforcement authorities in the city/township/county.
what is the punishment for harboring someone with a warrant
Almost certainly yes.
Who knows...There must be someone if any of this is going to happen...There must be someone to carry on life and start over...Who knows who it will be. i think that there is going to be sonone who lives and who that person is i do not have a clue but there is going to be somone who lives
Yes, you can get in trouble for driving a criminal somewhere.
Warrants are only issued if a judge feels there is just cause to search someone or some place. If the evidence isn't there, a warrant may not be issued.
No it's not illigal.
What zones are all of the states in the US grouped under for extradition and/or acting on any outstanding warrants? For example, what states are in the same zone as Missouri?
A warrant is a warrant. If you happen to be one those who gets randomly screened and your name is run through the criminal information computer AND the warrants are on file you COULD be taken into custody by the airport police.
A neighbor is someone who lives next to you.
What do you expect to happen when you try to get it? Your name goes into a computer, and they get a return that you have an outstanding warrant in another state.
Warrants are NOT issued by the police. Warrants are issued by the court - they are then given to the police to carry out. The police operate on PROBABLE CAUSE, and if you know that they want someone, perhaps they do not have sufficient probable cause for an arrest or, perhaps, they may not have been able to locate the individual.
There is a slim chance. But don't get all worked up about it if it doesn't happen. It isn't impossible, but I would find it very unlikely that he would get involved with someone that lives that far away from where he lives.
