The Kodak Easyshare system has a lot of different uses for different people. The most significant is that it allows one to retrieve images from their cameras and store it on their computer. Once that step is finished, a vast amount of possibilities open up. One of the most fun is tagging. Easyshare can present thumbnails of all photographs on the computer system, and allow one to add short text descriptions. This means that the images can now be found with keyword searches. One could put a person’s name in an image they appear in, for example, and a later search for their name would turn it up. The next most common feature is simple image editing.
