The primary purpose of The Bible to make God known and specifically Jesus Christ, His son. The bible can and should be thought of as the revelation of a loving God to the people He created. He made himself known to us and continues to make himself known to us because He wants to have a relationship with us. The bible is the revelation of the person of Jesus Christ, first and foremost.
