Our main celebration as Christians is the death of Christ (the only thing he requested us to celebrate-read the account of the last supper in the book of Matthew) which is in March or April every year. Also we will celebrate wedding anniversaries. We don't celebrate birthdays because the tradition has pagan origins but we celebrate life all year round. Why only give your kids parties and presents once a year on their birthday when you can do so any time of the year as many times as you want.
