15k to 300k. It's gonna be about how much you can sell but I've seen landscape designer making 300k in a good economy.
A Landscape Architect has a professional degree, and in 49 of 50 states you have to be Registered with the Board of Landscape Architecture to be able to call yourself "Landscape Architect". Anyone can refer to themselves as a Landscape Designer legally.

A landscape designer does not necessarily need a degree, and even though landscape designers and architects' duties may overlap, they are not the same thing. Landscape architects, in addition to having a four year degree, must also be licensed by the state. Generally, pay grades for landscape architects are higher than those of landscape designers.

To call yourself a landscape architect you need a university degree in Landscape Architecture. (Generally 4 years full time) To be a Garden Designer you dont need any qualifications but they help if you want to be a good one. Could include qualifications in Horticulture, Enviromental Science, Architecture, Landscape Construction etc. would all help.
