Trying not to consume gluten can be very tricky but luckily there are loads of gluten free foods out there. You can buy gluten free breads, cakes, cereals, pastas, cake mixes, even gluten free beers and liquors.

Surprisingly, many gluten free pastas are coming onto the market. They have some at Jewel Os-co, Trader Joe's and a store called New Vitality. My favorite type of pasta is tinkyada from Jewel Os-co. It is wheat free, gluten free, cholesterol free, low fat and low sodium, has a good consistent texture, not mushy, and Al Dente. They are the spiral types.
