master cylinder or brake booster try removing the vacume hose from the booster while the car is running see if you have vacume, if you do try leaving it off if the brakes work fine without it your master is fine

the brake light wiring often runs through the turn signal switch i would test power going in to the brake light switch on the pedal and power coming out when pedal is depressed if power is ok suspect turn signal or hazard switch
Hardness in the brake pedal can because by low brake fluid. Air in the brake lines can also cause the pedal to push hard.
