smoking and secondhand smoke. Even if you dont smoke yourself but are aroudn somebody that does you could have lung damage done

Yeah here we go again. Yes smoking is bad for you and will cause lung damage but smoking is not the only thing that damages lungs. Inhaling things from aerosol cans such as deodorant, paint or anything else using an accelerant can damage your lungs. Some older buildings use asbestos and this has been proven to be bad for lungs. Breathing fumes from cars and trucks, especially in closed areas like a garage can destroy your lungs. Not to mention that some drugs and even some foods can reduce your bodies ability to repair your lungs as they get damaged.

Again smoking is bad for you but don't think that just smoking or not smoking will decide the fate of your lungs. Take care of your body and it will take care of you.
