Dodgy food.

"You are what you eat."

Basically, anything coming out of the body usually has things inside it which the body doesn't want, such as salty tears.

If you have eaten unhealthy food the bad stuff will be put in the liquid that sperm comes in, and will make it nasty.

Another opinion... This could also possibly be a sign that something is not quite right, such as an illness. You should see your doctor to make sure that all is well with you.

NOTE: Semen is the fluid which contains sperm. Sperm do not smell. Semen can smell.

Several factors can contribute to semen having an unpleasant odor. These may include poor hygiene, infections such as bacterial or yeast infections, certain medications, or dietary factors like consuming excessive amounts of alcohol or certain foods. If the odor persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, it is recommended to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and guidance.
