Sorry, to tell you but white smoke from the exhaust is a sign of a blown head gasket or cracked head or both. Other symptoms are loss of coolant with no apparent leak, overfull oil level, a white foamy substance on the underside of the oil fill cap, air bubbles escaping from the radiator with engine running radiator cap off. Caution: Only remove the cap on a cold engine. Stop driving this vehicle immediately or serious engine damage will occur.
valve seal
No, it will not cause smoke from the exhaust pipe. However the leaking oil can drip on the exhaust manifold where it will be burnt and smoke.
Burning oil
02 sensor
Stuck or broken oil rings can cause blue smoke.
because you need a heat shield to keep it from smoking.
If you can't detect a leak but if you have white smoke (steam) coming out of the exhaust, you may have a blown head gasket or a cracked cylinder head.
blown head gasket. the easiest way to tell is to open the radiator cap while the cars running BUT BE CAREFUL! if theres antifreeze in there it will spray and burn you! but if you have a blown head gasket when you open the throttle the same white smoke will blow out of the radiator cap. white smoke is a sign of a blown head gasket though.
If you nicked the oil pan it could cause it to smoke from engine area. Is the smoke coming from the exhaust or engine bay? If exhaust, then I highly doubt it was caused by the curb incident.
Dont filled oil so that no smoke
blue smoke can be caused by sticking valves or burnt rings
Blue exhaust smoke is burning oil.
