∙ 14y agoThe short answer is ... Yes. As we are reminded in every tobacco conversation these days, there is no such thing as a safe tobacco... If you were to able kick a two pack a day cigarette habit by smoking one cigar a day, would you be better off? I would say yes.

∙ 14y agoEvery smoker starts off with the intention of smoking only a small number of cigarettes and thereby avoiding the more serious problems that cigarettes cause to both your physical and financial health. But cigarettes are horribly addictive. Anyone who starts off smoking only 2 cigarettes a day is eventually going to start smoking a larger number. You cannot play around with addictive drugs. I will add that even if, by some miracle, you are actually able to keep your rate of smoking to just two cigarettes per day, smoking will still harm your health. It is not healthy to inhale smoke, period. Don't.
