In all bodies, there two kinds of cells: sexual cells (espermatozoa and ovums) that combine through a process called meiosis to create a new cell with genetic properties from both of them. The meiosis give us life because of the unlimited variety of genetic binds and it only happens during the sex.

And the other kind is the other cells called somatical cells that copy themselves through a process called mitosis. The cell divides in 2 "cells-children" with the same DNA than their "mother". The mitosis happens during all our life when a cell is dying and divides itself to keep the number.

What DNA code can make a copy of itself?

DNA can make a copy of itself through a process called DNA replication, where the DNA molecule unwinds and each strand serves as a template for the synthesis of a new complementary strand. The specific DNA code that enables this replication process to occur is the base pairing rule, where adenine (A) pairs with thymine (T) and cytosine (C) pairs with guanine (G).

A macromolecule that can copy itself and make proteins what is it?

A macromolecule that can copy itself and make proteins is DNA. DNA contains the genetic information needed for protein synthesis, and it undergoes transcription to create messenger RNA (mRNA), which is then translated into proteins by ribosomes.
