warped brake discs can cause your brakes to grab in reverse. Hope this helps.
POSSIBLE SHOES ON BACKWARDS? HAVE YOU HAD ANY REPAIR WORK DONE RECNTLY?
Make sure there are no fluid leaks getting on the brake linings' Make sure all brakes are working and are adjusted properly Make sure brakes are wearing equally

Centric brakes are brakes which grab the tire in the middle for slowing the vehicle down. Most brakes grab at the side which can lead to swerve on very rare occasions.
in VW's when you have the breaks adjusted out too far they tend to grab when reversing. There is an auto adjuster in the rear drum to keep your rear brakes adjusting. If the brakes are worn out they will "hang up" after reverse and cause squeeling.
it broke
it is friction and when the water goes on the brakes and tires they bond together
When your rear tires start to slip for any reason, snow, rain, etc. the brakes will quickly pump to stop them from spinning allowing the tires to grab the road again. If the tire continues, so do the "pumps." Anti Lock Brakes in reverse? ;)
It is possible for the brakes to lock up on a 2000 Chevy Venture when in reverse because the brakes are not working properly. Perhaps the brake pads need to be changed.
Your brake might grab when going downhill because the pads are wearing out. The lines may also need bled properly.
That depends in the model and what transaxle it had. Typically it will be by the shifter that you grab to put it into reverse.
only thing i know that will make brkes grind, is worn out brakesmaybe have em checked at a different mechanic
