Yes , according to the Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera ) the 2.0 liter four cylinder engine in a 2001 Hyundai Elantra has a timing ( BELT )
http://www.edmunds.com/hyundai/elantra/ contains an extensive review of the Hyundai Elantra. Overall they relate that it is a very nice vehicle, a very smooth ride, and easy to handle. The cabin is spacious, and they're a very good value. Just make sure it isn't an older model; early models of the Elantra were poor quality and earned a bad reputation.
Make sure all your plugs are connected at the bottom of fan.
The diagnostic port on a Hyundai Elantra is found inside the cabin. Lift the steering wheel up to make room. The port is found on the between the hood release and steering column.
You can go to www.keyless-remotes.com. There, you can enter your Make, Model and Year, and find the exact remote you’re looking for.
Just go to your local auto parts store, make sure to know your make model and year. Engine size won't hurt either all though i think Hyundai has been running the same engine for a while.
Check your spark plugs or have your transmission checked. Could be a clutch problem if it's manual.
The 2010 Hyundai Elantra takes 24" drivers and 18" passenger side wiper blades. See related links below. Make sure you not only get the correct lengths but also the correct attachments - there are over 22 different wiper arm attachments and not all wipers fit all arms. Lookup exact wiper part numbers by vehicle make, model and year.
You should be able to find a shop manual at your local library with the right info...make copies as they are usually only in the REFERENCE section....good luck:)
It might be because of moisture. Mine would go out every time it rained. I had my mechanic put a new silicon seal on the headlights and that solved it for me.
No it doesnt. I had the same question because I needed to get a copy of my key made so I went to the dealership to make sure it didn't and they told me it didn't! Money saved!
While it is possible to fit a 2000 Elantra engine into a 96 Accent, some custom fabrication will be neccesary to make the engine mounts fit. You'll also need to swap the factory ECU with the Elantra's since they are not compatible and most of the electrical wiring plugs will not fit each other. The accent's transmission is fully compatible with the Elantra motor. Custom length axle shafts will be necessary also.
