The end of religious conflict is an admirable goal, but not an easy one to achieve.

There are two sure ways of ending religious conflict. One is for those who hold religious beliefs become genuinely tolerant of other views, even to the point of accepting unconditionally, the right of adherents to leave the religion for whatever reason they choose. Another is the end of religious belief.

So, if there are people of belief who really want a peaceful and ethical world without conflict based on religion, they can play their part by taking action to cease attempts by others to convert people from different faiths and make any converts from their own faith feel they remain welcome among family and friends, just as they always were, and that their new faith will always be respected.
