Kits and mates would be a huge distraction to medicine cats. If the medicine cat had no apprentice and she got pregnant, then it would be very difficult to continue healing cats, as well as raising/carrying kits. If there was a big battle, instead of going for the heavily wounded first, the medicine cat would go for either their mate or their kits first, even if they are the least wounded.
Warrior cats can have mates, kits, and actively participate in battles and hunting. Medicine cats are restricted from having mates or kits due to their role in the clan as healers and are generally not allowed to fight or hunt prey.
It's simply because they have a duty to preform. I know Warriors do too, but there are many Warriors and only 1 medicine cat (and an apprentice, but they are not trained enough to take full control yet) Hope this helped :)
A warrior can have a mate and kits, though a medicine cat cannot, due to the warrior code. This is an important rule because medicine cats are few and an important part of a clan, caring for every cat. If they had kits, they would have no time to attend to their job. However, there are many warriors per clan, and it is important to ensure future generations for the clan, therefore warriors can have kits. This is a long respons lol.
Medicine cats cannot have mates or kits. They must see everyone in the Clan(and other Clans) equally.
In the warriors series medicine cats are not allowed to have kits, while warriors are.
A warrior can have a mate and they can have kits. Medicine cats can't.
They aren't allowed to mate.
Mates.
they can have a special connection with star clan and knowlegde of healing
Well...for one thing, normal warrior cats can have mates. Medicine cats cannot, but some of them have a mate anyway, but not purposely. (Example: Leafpool, Yellowfang...) Warrior cats are pretty much what keeps the clan on its feet though. I mean, you can't have a leader and a medicine cat and make the best out of it. Anyhow, warrior cats do have unfortunate cases. Unlike medicine cats, if they're found on another clan's territory, they're most likely going to be driven back, sometimes after a fight. They hold loads of responsibility, but none like the responsibility of a medicine cat's.
I don't know, You look it up I did. I cant find a half decent answer
Ok, first thing it's spelt Warrior. Medicine cats do not have diet restrictions by the Warrior code, they eat from the fresh kill pile like the rest of the cats. You may be reffering to the overall rule that you cannot hunt for yourself, having to feed elders and kits first.
Medicine cats cannot have mates or kits. They must see everyone in the Clan equally.
Medicine cats are not allowed to have a mate or kittens.
Medicine cats in the Warrior Cats series are not allowed to have kits, as their main duty is to serve their Clan by tending to the health and welfare of the cats in their Clan. If a medicine cat were to have kits, they would be breaking the medicine cat code and would likely face consequences such as being stripped of their position.
In the Warrior Cats series, pansies are used by medicine cats to help soothe the pain of a cat's injuries or wounds. They can be chewed and applied to the affected area to provide relief and aid in the healing process.
The clan where warrior cats go when they die is called StarClan. It is a group of the spirits of deceased warriors, leaders, and medicine cats who watch over and guide the living cats of the forest.
The next rank up from apprentice in the Warrior Cats series is a warrior. Warriors have completed their apprenticeship training and are now full members of their Clan, allowed to take on more responsibilities and join hunting and border patrols.
Warrior cats in the "Warriors" book series are typically healed with poultices made from herbs by the medicine cat in their clan. These poultices help treat injuries and illnesses, with specific herbs having different healing properties for different conditions. The medicine cat plays a vital role in maintaining the health of the warrior cats in their clan.
Leafpool is ThunderClan's former medicine cat. She resigned from her duty and became a warrior because she believed she could no longer be a medicine cat, since she had broken the warrior code. Jayfeather is one of Leafpool's sons and her former apprentice. He is know the full medicine cat and is one out of three cats in the prohecy. He is blind and has no apprentice. He can read other cats' minds and can walk in other cats' dreams.
