A 1994 television will be a purely analog model and will need a set top box to receive digital broadcasts. While most set top boxes provide video and audio signals there are a few that will also output the same signal on an RF connector. This is the same connector that aerials use to deliver a signal to the television receiver. With an RF signal, the television can be tuned to the right frequency and display the output of the set top box.
Because this is now not a common problem, it is vital that before purchasing a set top box, you ask the question: "Does it output the program content as an RF signal on the RF connector?" Some sales staff will understand the question and answer correctly. Sadly, a few might be tempted to give you the answer you want without knowing.
If a set top box with an RF output proves difficult to get, it may possible to use an old VHS recorder. Even a VHS recorder that won't play tapes will work. Take the video and audio signal from the set top box into the line input or AV input of the video recorder. Select the line input on the recorder and the signal should appear on the RF output of the recorder. Tune the television to the channel that the recorder is on. Its not an elegant solution - but it is a solution.
Just because you dont have AV ports in your tv does not mean its old. You need to buy a AV Cable converter.
Normally you connect it to the AV ports on the back of your TV using the included cables.
The easiest solution is the iPod AV Cable - See the related link for an example.
Then you have a MONITOR , just a TV with no internal TUNER. Sometimes a MONITOR is made to a higher standard then a regular TV.
If it is not an HDTV make sure the switch on the back of the AV Cable is on TV not HDTV.
The PSVita does not have any video-out ports. Therefore it cannot be connected to a TV screen unless it undergoes some heavy modification, involving opening it up and splicing a capture card into the wires that carry the video feed.
usually if you only have one av hookup on your tv you have to leave the specified DVD Player and Nintendo Wii plugged in and transfer the cords everytime you want to watch or play one and not the other..you are not able to hook both of them up at the same time..unless you have more AV outlets on the back of your tv...check there and if that doesnt work see the above plan(:
All you need is a TV tuner card that has "AV in" facility. From your Set Top Box connect the AV cord to your AV in port of your TV tuner card and you are done.
u have to use your ps3 av multi out cable
check first your satellite receiver if there is an HDMI jack. connect your HDMI cables from your satellite receiver to your tv tuner. if you don't have the HDMI jack, check the AV output jack. connect the AV cables from your satellite receiver to your tv tuner. you can use either AV or HDMI.
On some TVs their are another set of AV inputs in the back of the TV (or front if you are using the back). So look closely around the back. Otherwise you will have to unplug whats there.
