I am not sure if your referring to a change of major, or a specific course your signed up for. If you would like to change your major, meet with an academic adviser within the counseling center (typically in the Student Services area). To change a specific course your may also be able to do this through an academic adviser, or through the Registration office (typically, the Office of the Registrar).
yes

Do what he/her has choosen or change it if they find it boring
No you can not change your college in SPP Canada, but you can change your course in first 2 week. Would suggest that one should not do this as this reflects in your history as well so might affect your work permit or PR application.Unless there is a genuine reason, you can request international office.

Most college course descriptions are found in the college's website at the course page to be more particular. Here, one can also find contact details of the college to get more information.

Some students arrive at college already knowing what their major will be, and do not change it throughout the course of their collegiate career. Others may start out with one major, only to change course later. The number of times depends solely on the student.
