I have poofy hair too! ButI use...GARNIER FRUCTIS Leave- in Conditioning Cream Sleek & Shine...Its for Frizzy,Dry Or Unmanageable Hair...It works really good...all I do is after I take a shower I just put it in my hair and brush it straight and it stays like that all day!!!!
use a round brush when you blow dry your hair
Emo hair has a lot of layers and at the top they rat it up a little bit giving it the poofy look
If you're a guy just put in some product for curly hair. It'll add weight to the hair but probably make it look curlier. Still better than an afro right?
New Person: i don't recommend getting layers i got layers and once you wet it got poofy! i do recommend getting it thinned out. i also don't recommend straight ironing your hair every day it can damage your hair you can go to Sally's and get a good shampoo and conditioner for your hair that's were i get my things for my hair
There's a bunch of ways to have pretty hair. I personally like the pony tail, and the bun. There are also these things called Bumpits, and you put them under your hair, and it goes up. Or you could use gel to make styles like wind swept, poofy, wavy, or ringlets!
I do too have a very round face (poofy cheeks sort) and scene/emo based hair doesn't suit round faces, though you some scene hairdos, without the ridiculous teasing might work well... The dangers are that it could make your face look way larger (not a nice look). Try not to shape the hair too round. But, I'd like to say, don't follow the trend, if you DIY, the most you'll do is look like a poofy potato head.
Put bobby pins in hair and stick it up... or just make it poofy, 80's was all about wierd hair you could do anything and pull off the trend. Put bobby pins in hair and stick it up... or just make it poofy, 80's was all about wierd hair you could do anything and pull off the trend.
No. it will only slick back your hair and make it look good.
You don't create the same "scene hair" as most emos use (I'm assuming you're a girl). The only way to get that poofy look is with blow-drying, and straightening your hair will de-poof it. It also depends on how curly, and how tight the curls are. And, if you're a guy, then you're pretty screwed.
If your head is big. I have a small head and very thin/fine hair and it does not look very good. I always try to make it look fuller.
You can tease it to make it look thicker. .....and that's all I can think of.
You can't
