The BEST way to take action against the death penalty would be to commit suicide. Anyone stupid enough to not think that there are crimes that deserve the ultimate penalty should not be breathing any more air then those who believe that their crimes should have no repercussions. Locking them away forever in a jail cell so they can prey on the petty criminals who actually have a chance to change is no punishment for animals like that, and is cruel and unusual punishment for the petty criminals. Jeffrey Dahlmer (sp?), Adolph Hilter, Idi Amin...... none of them deserved to die for their crimes? Riiiiiiight......
yes I am i believe god gave you life and he should be the only one to take it so get over it
Because they believe each individual has the right to life that other people cannot take or control.
No country which still has the death penalty for any crime is allowed to join the European Union. So I don't think they like it.
Not exactly. A prosecutor might offer a plea bargain in exchange for not seeking the death penalty on conviction. This is not unusual. If the prosecutor can persuade the defendant to plead guilty, he or she saves the state the cost of a murder trial (the only offense likely to result in the death penalty), which can run into the millions. If the prosecutor says, "take this plea bargain or you will get the death penalty," he or she is assuming they can convict you, which is never a sure thing.
Sensible persons don't think that death penalty is a solution. Murderers don't take on account the death penalty when they plan an assassination. They simply ignore it, because their bad nature is stronger than the idea of dying.
George Grenville's first action in the colonies was to take action against smugglers. George Grenville was a British Whig statesman.
Writing a check on a checking account that is closed/inactive is a crime. Customers are not supposed to do that and if they do, the bank can report it and take legal action against the offending customer. The customer can be fined or jailed for doing so. This penalty is irrespective of the country/state you reside in.
Roman Catholics believe we do not have the right to take away one's life.
They didnt take no action
Cesare Beccaria formulated the first modern arguments against the death penalty and wrote the first full-scale work on criminal reform and on criminal justice conforming to rational principles. He opposed the death penalty on the ground that the state does not have the right to take lives and that capital punishment was not useful and was not necessary. Beccaria also condemned torture.
What kind of "action?" You can take action against them just as you would against any other company. They can be reported to Consumer Affairs agencies - sued in court - etc. However, you may run into a bit of a problem if they are foreign-based.
John Terry also missed his penalty , he had to take it as Drogba was sent of.
