According to some articles i have read about this situation i think its proper that you move on because once people like her indicate they are not ready for a relationship they most often, really aren't.

∙ 11y ago- If your girlfriend wants to break up then there isn't much you can do about it. She at least deserves to give you a reason so sit down calmly with her and ask why she wants to break up and if she doesn't feel you both should try again in your relationship. Be sure to let her know that if she chooses to leave you will start dating again (sometimes this will make the mate who wants to leave to rethink their decision.) If she insists on breaking up then perhaps it is for the best and it could mean she either just needs some head space to figure out what she wants in life or, she may move on in her future.
