Try to teach your cat some tricks. Take a hula-hoop, 2 chairs, & some treats. Space the chairs 10" apart. Put your cat on one chair and a treat on the other. Put the hula-hoop in between. Say "Jump."Repeat until your cat jumps through without a treat.
