Depends what you're trying to clean your urine of. If it's marijuana, stop smoking about 3 or 4 days before your drug test and start taking two 250mg tablets of Niacin before bed and sometime in the morning until the day of your test. I smoked the day before my first UA took niacin and passed no problems. I've taken 3 UAs and smoked a day or 2 before all of them, took niacin and passed no problem. DO NOT take excessive amounts!!!!!! more than 2 at night and 2 in the morning is not necessary and it could put your health at risk. Also, when your skin starts to burn like hell, that means its working so don't be worried by that.

∙ 14y agoThe best thing to drink is plain water - you should be drinking 8-10 full glasses every day to keep your urinary system working properly. Drinks such as sugary sodas and energy drinks actually make you urinate less than water does, because the body has to retain water in order to get rid of all the sugar in them.
If you are a legal adult and you need to urinate to get rid of a kidney stone, doctors recommend drinking ONE normal serving of beer, which is a mild diuretic and will cause your kidneys to release more fluid. Drinking more than one beer does not make you urinate more, and will just make you drunk and fat because alcohol is very fattening.
