Increasing your sodium (salt) intake is the best way of treating a low blood pressure, short of hypertensive medication (which is unavailable in the UK, but available in France and some other EU countries). It takes quite a lot of salt to increase blood pressure, so there's no real need to worry about "eating too much of it".
