To answer with a few more questions, why would you NOT stop calling and emailing a boyfriend who has stated he wants nothing more to do with you? And why do you label him "narcissist?" Are you sure YOU are not the narcissist? Narcissists are largely identifiable by their hungry need to pursue those who want nothing to do with them. It's true of the nosy neighbor who comes knocking on your door several times a week even though you cannot stand him/her and have made it plain. It's true of the suffocating parental figure who devours his/her young with destructive attention, advice, and control. It's true of the co-worker who is always breathing down the necks of others, or the repugnant "boss" (supervisor) who does that. Refusal To Go Away, in my experience, has been the chief hallmark of the person with Narcissistic Character Disorder. I'm not trying to be mean to you. I promise I'm not. But you need to think hard about your question, since your immediate future seems to be riding on it.
