Cities are also much more multicultural than small towns. Large businesses often prefer to locate their offices in cities instead of towns. You are more likely to find Art Galleries and large Museums in a city than a small town. In a city there is a high population density meaning that you will find more apartment buildings and small attached town houses then you would in a town. Also cities have public transit systems and easy access to major highways.
