You can make a Nether Portal. Put the Obsidian in a 4x6 vertically with a 2x3 hole in it. Using Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge, right click on the bottom Obsidian.
You may only mine Obsidian with a Diamond Pickaxe.
You build a portal out of 14 obsidian
To craft a portal stone in Mineblock, you will need to gather 8 ender pearls and 1 obsidian block. Place the obsidian block in the center of a crafting table grid, then surround it with the ender pearls in a ring formation. This will create a portal stone, which can be used to craft portals to other dimensions within the game.
The Only thing That Can Break Obsidian Is A Diamond Pickaxe. :3
Obsidian is found in really deep creeper caves with magma and water. Magma + Water = Obsidian You need a 3x5 rectangle of obsidian and light it with flint and stone.
Nothing in vanilla aside from repeatedly hitting and creative mode can break obsidian. No amount of wither or TNT will break it.
You have to get a bucket of water. Pour it on the lava and then mine the obsidian with a diamond pickaxe.
Place two blocks of stone, one above the other. That has to be regular stone and not cobblestone. Stone can be made by smelting cobblestone in a furnace.
You can make a portal to the nether on minecraft with 10 obsidian arranged like this in a space somewhere: O=Obsidian E= Empty EOOE OEEO OEEO OEEO EOOE You can also get mods where there are more portals
You don't make it, you mine it.
You just left click blocks. You can only get things like dirt and logs with your hands. You need to make a wooden pickaxe to mine stone and coal, to mine iron you need a stone pickaxe, to mine diamonds and redstone you need a iron pickaxe, and to mine obsidian you need a diamond pickaxe. Each type of pickaxe and break the blocks that lower level picks can mine (like iron picks can break all the blocks that stone blocks can break). Shovels and axes just break their respective blocks faster(axe mines wood faster, shovel mines dirt/sand faster).
No. Only a Diamond Pickaxe can mine obsidian.
