My dog just chewed on the socks trying to get them off Also if mid section is where the surgery is try using a male potty belt (work for spay of females) around the middle. Yes, you can wax your legs after surgery, provided all the sutures have been removed and there is no wound in the area to be waxed. However, in the pre-op care, you will be shaved as per the protocol. So relax. Your legs will be as silky as they are now after the surgery.

Liam shaved his head for cancer because it was getting so long.
You cannot shave the day of the surgery because it greatley increases your chances of becoming infected, due to microscopic cuts. Many studies show people who shaved before their surgery had a much higher rate of infections than those who did not.
