I can tell you from battling this myself that the best way to get over your addiction and not feel the "dope sickness" is to go to your local methadone clinic. I have been going to the methadone clinic for 2 months. I have never felt better. I kinda had my doubts...you know, how can you ever not crave the drug? how could you find energy to get off the couch without it?? Believe me, it works. I don''t know how, but it does. You have no withdrawl symptoms or dope sickness, as you put it. In my state, medicaid does pay for treatment. If you don't have medicaid, in NC it costs $11 a day. I would definantly say that $11 a day is much cheaper than paying for pills. Not counting all the gas you use driving to get the pills. Good luck to you.
