Well, there's many different ways to make them. If you have a Hobby Lobby in your town, they have a DNA kit you just put together while following directions. But if you want to do it the hard way, you need to get 2 different sizes of styrofoam balls, 2 different colors of paint, a bunch of popsicle sticks, and wire to make the frame out of. 1st- Paint all the smaller balls one color. 2nd-Paint the larger size of balls the other color. 3rd-Seperate the popsicle sticks down the middle coloring each side a different color. 4th-Twist the wire in the shape of a twisted ladder 5th-Put the balls on the twisted ladder alternating the larger and smaller balls each time. 6th-Insert the popsicle sticks in every larger balls, connecting them with the larger ball in front of it. 7th-Make a key with the colors you chose for Guanine, Thymine, Adenine, and Cytosine. THAT'S HOW YOU MAKE A DNA PROJECT!!!! ENJOY

You can use an orange candy, like a big lollipop, for the sun. Do some research on the sizes and just coordinate them and make a circle around the sun by using some chicken wire or something. Make sure you label them and coordinate colors.
