Darn near anything can be made to accept a small block Chevy. The easiest conversions would be to select a vehicle that was offered from the factory with a v8 Chevy engine. Try a 1974 Toyota Landcruiser AKA > "Chevota"

a good engine to put in a car i think is a 350 small block with a twin turbo. another is a 440 big block v8 with twin headers
on the right side of the block where the head meets the block in the front is a small flat shelf and have numbers stamped there and a salvage yard could help you out with numbers

No the 350 has always been a small block. The smallest big block made by Chevrolet was the 366 truck engine and the 396 car engine.
