The blood carries nutrients from the small intestine to all over the body. The villi in the small intestine allow nutrients to pass through the intestinal wall to the blood vessels. Then the blood carries the nutrients away.

The digestive system needs nutrients to provide the body with energy, support growth and repair of tissues, and maintain overall health. Nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals are essential for various bodily functions and processes. Without a sufficient intake of nutrients, the body may experience deficiencies and health issues.
Capillaries in the small intestine absorb nutrients from the digestive tract. Capillaries in the small intestine also bring oxygen and carry away waste from the intestine.
It is passed from the stomach into the large intestine where further digestion occurs. From there it is passed to the small intestines where final digestion occurs. From there, to the colon.
In the villus of the small intestine, the structure that collects fat and carries it away is called the lacteal. Lacteals are specialized lymphatic capillaries that absorb dietary fats and fat-soluble vitamins from the digested food. Once absorbed, the fats are transported through the lymphatic system before entering the bloodstream. This process helps to efficiently distribute lipids throughout the body.

The nutrients that are absorbed through the villi are transfered to the blood stream where it can be transfered to other parts of the body. So the vessels enable the villi to transfer nutrients to the blood system. = 0
