If you're asking about the queen, it's Balmoral Castle.
Initially at Bolton Castle, Yorkshire Then Tutbury castle, Gloucestershire Then , for many years, Fotheringhay castle, Northamptonshire where she was beheaded aged 45
It's where the king/queen stays. Also, if a country is under attack, then the king or queen would stay in the castle, and ontop of the castles there would be archers etc. the castle would be there to defend the country i guess.
It was built in 1390 by Sir William Drummond, it has 65,000 acres of land, the castle had a royal residence of Queen Victorian and Prince Albert, they enjoyed there stay at the castle so much that they decided to buy the castle for £30,000, and Prince Albert started to extend the castle and he finished extending it in 1856.
yes Catherine parr did stay queen for 5 years
Heavens no! She is known as the Duchess of Cornwall and is the consort of Prince Charles. If present life-styles stay the same, when Elizabeth II dies, she will become Queen Consort of Great Britain. (this is not the same as Queen Regnant- as Elizabeth Is currently- but a Royal Title nonetheless.
From 7 September 1533 to 24 March 1603 = 69 years 6 months 17 days
